By Wisconsin statute, staff development programs should be designed to meet the needs of individuals or curriculum areas of the school.
Over the next several years, the staff of the School District of Prairie Farm will focus on the following staff development activities:
1. The use of technology in the classroom for instructional purposes.
2. The continuation of writing up-to-date curriculum focusing on 21st Century skills using the curriculum format known as Build Your Own Curriculum.
3. Response to Intervention (RTI).
4. The District will also provide staff development opportunities to individuals as needed and required.
5. Each year, staff members will design annual goals to support their efforts in the improvement of instruction which will benefit the District’s entire student body.
