Description:

 

A study of the principles of biology including ecology, cellular structure, genetics, botany and zoology.

 

 

ADVANCED BIOLOGY

Pre-requisite:           B average in Biology or approval of Science instructor

                                    Grades 11-12

Description:

 

This course is structured for students going on to a post high school program in which a more in-depth knowledge of Biology would be helpful.  Areas to be covered would include:  Human Anatomy/Physiology, Biochemistry, Ecology, Genetics, Evolution, and Bacteriology.

CHEMISTRY

Description:

 

Offered 2011-2012.   A study covering the states of matter, the mole concept, properties of the elements, chemical equilibrium and problem solving.  Chemistry is offered on an alternate year basis.
