Description:
The program is outlined on a seasonal
basis. Activities are taught during a
period of two to six weeks, so that sufficient time is given to acquire a
reasonable degree of proficiency in each activity. This course strives to provide a balanced
program, one which combines individual and dual sports as well as team
sports. Examples of the activities undertaken
are: Soccer, Speed ball, Archery,
Volleyball, Badminton, Hockey, Rhythmic Activities, Golf, Bowling, Pickle
ball, Softball, Team Handball, Orienteering, and Weight Training.

Description:
Content of course - weight lifting,
jogging, physical fitness activities.
This is a one semester course designed to increase your stamina,
endurance and overall fitness. Programs
are designed by each individual to best suit their fitness needs. Students will journal daily to record
results and improvement throughout the semester.

Description:
This is a one semester course that
involves mental, social, physical and environmental
health. Students will learn how to make healthy
choices as they look at mental health, nutrition, physical fitness, anatomy,
human development, substance abuse and modern health problems. They also will be informed about different
technology used today and about careers in the health field.

Prerequisite: You must have already taken 2 semesters of Physical
Education prior to enrolling in this
class. Class is offered to 11th and
12th graders only.
Description:
The program is outlined on a seasonal
basis. Lifetime activities are taught
during a period of two to six weeks, so that sufficient time is given to
acquire a reasonable degree of proficiency in each activity. This course is designed to promote an
active lifestyle outside of the school day and beyond graduation. Examples of activities that will be taught
are: fitness program development,
fishing, golf, bowling, fitness walking, hiking, biking, orienteering, yoga,
aerobics, x-country skiing, snow shoeing and canoeing.
