| Prairie Farm Middle School Choir
Prairie Farm Choirs have a tradition of excellence. The Prairie Farm Middle School Choir consistently receives outstanding awards at WSMA large group festivals. This hard working group of middle school students has a high rate of participation in WSMA solo and ensemble festivals, the WSMA state honors program and the Lakeland all-conference middle school choir.
Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! Your son/daughter has chosen to be a part of the Middle School Choir. This is a performing organization. We rehearse to provide a concert for public enjoyment. Students will learn various styles of music. They will learn how to read music and interpret things in a musical fashion. Students will be required to participate in vocal lessons. Some of these lessons will be individual, and some will be group lessons. Seventh and eighth grade students have more opportunities to perform in solo and ensemble festival and audition for WSMA state honors choir. Be patient sixth graders. Learn from your peers and be ready for next year!
Musically yours,
