Stars Dance Classes

Prairie Farm Community Ed. offers dance classes for students in grades Pre-K through 12th grade. There are four levels of dance available: Little Stars, Rising Stars, Shining Stars, and Shooting Stars. Each class incorporates elements of ballet, jazz and hip hop.  The classes are held in the elementary multi-purpose room at the Prairie Farm School. The instructor is Molly Olson who is a high school math teacher at Prairie Farm and the high school dance team coach. Her past dance experience includes gymnastics, cheerleading, and dance. She was a dance coach for 5 years at Pequot Lakes, MN with several appearances at the State competition. Her team finished 2nd in Jazz/Funk in 2002. At Prairie Farm, she has been coaching the dance team since 2006. She began teaching community ed. dance in 2009.
