Welcome to the Business Classroom. In order for you to be successful, you need to be aware of classroom expectations:

·         All assignments are due on the due date. Ten percent (10%) is deducted for each day late up to 50%. After that, only 50% is possible. "Late" work is accepted up until 3 days before mid-quarter of each quarter and 3 days before the end of each quarter. If you are absent, see me for make-up work.

·         All work gets handed into the bin set up for your class. Your make up work assignment will also be there.

·         Come prepared to class-notebook, book, workbook, something to write with and your completed assignment.

·         Be respectful of your classmates and of the person in the room who is giving the instructions—whether it is me or a substitute. Treat the equipment with care.

·         No swearing or name-calling.

·         Be in your seat ready for class to start when the bell rings. I dismiss you…not the bell. No standing next to the door waiting for the bell to ring.

·         No one will be allowed to leave the classroom during the last 10 minutes of class. If you need to leave at other times, bring your passbook to me and also sign out at the door; when you return, sign back in with name, date and time.

·         Cheating on quizzes, exams or daily assignments will not be tolerated in this class.  If you are suspected of cheating, a conference will be held with me.  A zero (0) will be given for that assignment, as well as following the procedures in the student handbook.

·         If you have a problem or questions, ask me for help.

·         Typically quizzes are given on lessons and each chapter, along with unit tests. Be prepared.

·         NO FOOD OR DRINK IN THE COMPUTER LAB
