Apple Pizzas

On Friday, September 30, 2011, the first graders made and enjoyed some delicious apple pizzas.  This was the culminating activity after a week celebrating Johnny Appleseed's birthday and learning about apples.  Students each brought in an apple from home.  We did some graphing activities and some nonfiction writing involving our apples.  The favorite activity was making our delicious pizzas!
