Facilities Development Plans and Specifications

The Board shall have plans and specifications prepared for educational structures.

Site Specification:

The Board shall accept as its minimum standards such site regulations as issued by the Department of Public Instruction and the Department of Industry, Labor and Human Relations. The Board may adopt additional standards over and above such site regulations as it deems necessary and beneficial to the District. Consideration shall be given to recommendations made by the administrative staff.

Construction Specification:

Construction as detailed by the plans and specifications shall meet all construction

codes and shall include a timeline indicating various stages of construction.

Equipment Specifications:

The Board shall determine which equipment is to be included in the facility. Plans and specifications shall reflect such determinations made by the Board. The Board shall determine which equipment shall be bid through the architect and which through District personnel.
