Long Range Policy for Building and Grounds

Whereas, it is the legal responsibility of the Board to provide safe and healthful facilities and grounds;

Whereas, there is a need for constantly updating and maintaining facilities and grounds;

Whereas, there are various laws and regulations on a federal, state and local level that are pertinent to school facilities;

Be it therefore resolved:

1) That the District Administrator shall report to the Board any known discrepancies for appropriate action;

2)  That the District Administrator shall prepare an annual report of recommendations relating to the compliance with laws and regulations for buildings and grounds as well as the educational adequacy of the facilities and grounds.  (Report on past year's activities)

3) And that each building administrator shall insure that an annual inspection of each facility under their jurisdiction has been inspected and a report has been made to the District Administrator with appropriate recommendations.
