Use of District Facilities and Other Properties

 

The Board recognizes the investment the residents of the district have made in facilities and other properties and encourages their use by district residents. Residents of the district may be provided access to our facilities and other property for authorized purposes that are not in conflict with school-sponsored activities or for the purpose the facility or property was designed.

 

The District Administrator shall establish guidelines that will permit organizations to utilize district facilities and other property for purposes that will not damage property, injure persons, or expose the district to undo liability. Such guidelines shall limit the use of certain facilities or other property if it creates unreasonable problems for an adjacent property owner, excessive wear to property, or disrupts the educational program.

 

District Administration will have the responsibility to administer the requests. The Pre-K 12 principal may refer requests to use district facilities or other properties to the District Administrator or his designee and/or Board for consideration.
