Student Bus Pick Ups and Drops

Each student riding the bus will have a designated pickup and drop point assigned by school authorities. Students will be required to walk to the bus pick up point if the distance does not exceed more than 2/10 of a mile from the end of their driveway.

Where it has been determined by school officials that it is unsafe to let students off or pick up students the driver will be instructed to drive in the driveway or nearest access road and turn around at the nearest safe place.

Parents/guardians requesting a change in pick up or drop off are to make a request to administration and complete the Bus Pick up Drop off Alternate Arrangements form. School officials will render a decision within 5 days of receipt of the completed form and request. The decision may be appealed to the Board of Education at the next regularly scheduled board meeting if parents/guardians disagree with the administrative decision
