Bomb Threats

In the event of a bomb threat, the administration shall evacuate the building in

accordance with established procedures. Any person who violates the state’s bomb scare law shall be subject to civic action for any expenses or damages incurred by the district.

Any student who knowingly conveys any threat or false information concerning an attempt or alleged attempt being made or to be made to destroy any school property by means of explosives shall be suspended and/or expelled in accordance with state law and Board policy.

Any person who voluntarily furnishes any law enforcement agencies with information which directly permits the apprehension and conviction of any other person for violation of the state’s bomb scare law may be paid a reward for furnishing such information.
