School District of Prairie Farm

Depository of Funds

The School District of Prairie Farm designates the Dairy State Bank

as official depository for all public monies coming into the hands of the Board

treasurer. Checking, savings, investment accounts and liquid asset funds shall be opened as deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the district.

Deposits made in any one (1) financial institution shall be limited to the amounts

protected by state and federal law, unless the excess amount has been collateralized or insured in accordance with established guidelines.

All funds belonging to the district and under the control of the Board treasurer shall be accounted for and disbursed directly by the Board in accordance with state law.
