Student Fees, Fines and Charges

The Board may charge student fees and/or charges for certain activities, courses and services which may require additional funding and assess fines when school property is damaged or lost. The Prairie Farm School Board of Education believes that all student fees, fines and charges should be collectible to the extent possible. It also understands that some parents/guardians may need time to make payment of these obligations. At the discretion of the administration, fees may be waived for a student whose family income would qualify for free lunch under federal school lunch program guidelines.

Student fees, fines and charges shall be collected and recorded in accordance with established procedures. Student fees shall be established at the Annual Meeting and Budgetary Hearing.
