School District of Prairie Farm

Revenues From Local Tax Sources

Voters at the annual meeting have the power to vote a tax levy for the operation of the District. The Board shall request a proportionate share of local taxes collected on behalf of the School District of Prairie Farm from each municipality having territory in the District.

The administration of the property tax levied by the District for operation and

maintenance shall be governed by the school finance laws, under the constraints of the state statutes. The Board and administrative staff shall be responsible for implementing the law in all details.
