Support Staff Recruiting / Hiring
SELECTION AND PLACEMENT OF SUPPORT STAFF
- All support staff employment opportunities shall be posted and advertised in the district's official newspaper.
- Making application for a support staff position will include completion of the District's application form.
- Applicants will be interviewed by supervisory personnel and the District Administrator. The Board of Education authorizes all hiring.
- Employees shall have such training and skills as may be required to carry out successfully the requirements of the job. Completion of high school, or equivalent, shall be considered in reviewing qualifications.
- Experience shall not be a prerequisite for employment, but experience may be given preference when selecting applicants.
- An employee that has experience that makes him/her more "experienced" than a beginning employee may be employed at a salary above the beginning rate or may receive additional increment.
- Schedules for work shall be fixed by the District Administrator and adjusted as necessary.
- Support staff employees are subject to work assignment as directed by the District Administrator.
