Job Title

Food Server

Qualifications

Mental alertness, neat personal appearance, good health, cooperativeness and dependability. This person must have sufficient dexterity to handle all equipment efficiently and safely. Must be able to exercise judgment and initiative in maintaining standards of job responsibilities. Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with staff and students.

Reports to:

Head Cook/District Administration

Primary goal of the Food Server

The goal of the Cook is to effectively discharge the duties of his/her job. This person must be able take direction from his/her supervisor as well as work independently. This individual is one who is comfortable with students, and members of the general public. This person must genuinely like and care for students.

Position Requirements and Responsibilities

Performance Requirements  

  1. Prepare to serve at elementary, middle, and high school.
  2. Complete item count and record.
  3. Set up food serving counters.
  4. Prepare food as assigned by head cook.
  5. Wearing appropriate gloves when serving food.
  6. Clean serving tables, dishes, and kitchen area.
  7. Other duties as requested by supervisor.
