Conversion of Health Insurance

Employees who take early retirement may continue with the school group providing they pay the appropriate premiums to the school district by the 20th of each preceding month.  If an individual policy is cancelled for any reason, or a payment is not made in a timely fashion resulting in a policy cancellation as a result thereof, the school district is not liable as a result.

The retiree must follow all provisions of the plan agreed upon by the plan provider and District.
