Student Use of Athletic Apparel and Equipment

The school district may allow the use of athletic apparel or equipment by its high school students during the off-season under certain conditions. Prior to granting approval for use of athletic apparel or equipment, a student must complete an application form and receive approval from the athletic director or principal.

All use must be for athletic purposes and the apparel or equipment must be returned in the same condition as when it was borrowed, normal wear and tear excepted. Damage to the apparel or equipment will result in a charge to the student or his or her family. A $35.00 per sport usage fee will be assessed.

A student must demonstrate proper knowledge of how to use the apparel or equipment prior to its use in an off-season activity. All apparel or equipment must be returned to the school district as soon as practicable after the conclusion of its use and in no case less than two-weeks before the start of school season.
