Student Due Process Rights

Before any disciplinary action such as suspension or expulsion is taken against a student for repeated inappropriate behavior, the student has a right to the due process guaranteed him/her by law. Any student accused of repeated inappropriate behavior and threatened with punishment for this action has the right to request a hearing before the District Administrator, or designee, with the student's parent/guardian attending if he/she desires.

If the student is still dissatisfied, he/she may request a hearing before the Board.
