The testing program in the Prairie Farm School District shall be designed to yield information on student achievement and study ability. Professional staff are expected to use the test results as an aid in the evaluation of individual students and instructional programs designed to ensure student success.
Testing of students shall occur at two levels. The first one is participation in the Wisconsin Knowledge and Comprehension Exam (WKCE) as mandated by State and Federal Law. The second level is at the local level where the District shall employ the use of diagnostic assessments to determine individual student and small group ability for evaluation and placement purposes.
The School District shall not discriminate in the methods, practices and materials used for testing and evaluating students on the basis of sex, race, religion, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation or physical, mental, emotional or learning disability.
