School Board Meetings

 A. Definition of:

1. Regular meetings - regular meetings shall be held on the last Monday prior to the 22nd of each month.  This may be changed to                                              meet the convenience of board members (120.11)(2).

2. Special Meetings - special meetings may be called by any board

    member, by serving on the other members a notice of the time and  place of the meeting at least 24 hours before such meeting.  Special meetings may be held at any time by mutual agreement of all board members (120.11)(2).

 3. Executive session - these may be held to provide a background discussion called to acquaint the board with information of a confidential nature.

4. Adjourned meeting - any legal meeting of the board may be                    adjourned to a specific time and place.

5. Place of meeting - all meetings of the Board of Education shall be                held at the board meeting room unless a different room shall be agreed upon or required.

 6. Policy for posting notice - all meetings will be posted at least 24               hours in advance except where not possible to do so.  Local                      posting at 3 local points with notification provided to new media requests.
